BT Tower, Birmingham
Screen print (edition of 50) on Somerset 300gsm paper
Unframed (paper) size: Height 56 cm x 38 cm
This print was made in response to the architecture around the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham and depicts the iconic BT Tower and buildings on Newhall Street. There are many beautiful older buildings in Birmingham and the building on the right is a gem. it is 19 Newhall Street (former Bell Edison Telephone building).
There are many intricate brick patterns and features on its facade, including gargoyles. If you are in Birmingham take a walk down Newhall Street (both sides) and have a look at these buildings, also look up to see the fascinating details on them.
I have handprinted this four separate colour layer screen print and it is one of a limited edition of 50 prints.
